Wedding Day

Do we have to provide you food?

No, you don’t have to provide food for us. We will ask you this question on your ‘wedding day form’ which we will invite you to complete 6 weeks before your date. If you plan to provide food for us then thank you very much. The only dietary requirement is that we don’t eat Lamb.

I don’t want to disappear for hours doing photos!

Good neither do we! Don’t worry we are very conscious of your time away from guests. We normally take about 20 minutes of your time.

I’m not very comfortable having my photo taken, eek :-/

Nearly everyone hates having their photos taken, even me! Most, in fact nearly all the photo we take are without you realising. When we take your couple photos it’s almost certainly not how you imagine it. We have a laugh, nothing cheesy or anything that will make you feel uncomfortable. It’s not like some photo shoot you’ve seen on TV. More like, “Stand just here where the light is lovely and talk to each other, about your day”. Many people who have been dreading this part of their day have said to us: “I actually really enjoyed that” or “That was lovely” or “It was so good just to have a bit of time for us”.

What will you wear on our wedding day?

Capturing your guests unaware of our presence, means we need to blend in. So we dress smart like your guests will.

Do you take family group photos?

Most definitely, they are still an important part of a wedding day.

How long do group photos take?

This really depends on how many groups you want. Typically most couples choose between 10-15 and this takes approximately 15-30 minutes. To help speed things up, we ask you to nominate helpers who know the guests. Remember you will probably be rooted to the spot and in every photo, so think of your future self! We’d hate for you to spend too much time doing family photos when you’d be happier mingling and drinking.

Can we ask you to take ‘unofficial’ group photos?

Yes we’re there for you and your guests. If you want us to take an impromptu group photo then just grab us, no problem.
